pistonbroke
I should be able to do that for you later mate, I've just fitted mine and have that switch loose behind the stereo. The stereo is out at the moment so should be able to snap it easy.

Lee_e
just had a look at those dial kits on visual performance , are they any good ? can anybody recommend them ? im looking at getting myself a set but just wanted to know if you get the bulbs and everything you need with it ? p.s. sorry for the hi-jack
pistonbroke
I wouldn't know mate, mine are speedhut dials. You won't need bulbs with the indiglo style faces as they are self lit. Here are mine

catfish man
same as mine it, havent had a problem yet i have mine fitted to the plastic steering cover on the bottom near the dash no movement easy to use and tidy just a thought to stop having it moving around:)
Lee_e
ahh ok then , cheers for the advice , in looking at them now i have an auto but its a facelift. so would i have to contact them for special requirements because by looking at the piccys they only do them for pre facelift big and not the facelift. i have the brushed steel dials at the moment but they arnt giving enough light so think i need to change , but i do like the affect of the steel tho
mwilkinson
I don't know if anyone else did this, but I connected the power to my dials off the back of the positive and negative feed on the plugs for the main dials. This way they will dim with the main dashboard dimmer. You don't need to use their one!!

Job done, nice and bright.
Lee_e
ahhh this i wil have to try, but does this apply for non standard bulbs ? the guy before me had blue ones and i think maybe 1 has blown as its not very bright near the 150mph marker and the 2k revs , so thats what makes me think its an ebay jobby. i will contact that company tomorrow for the dials to see if they do for the facelift. and go from there. pistonbroke
You'll have to work out whether the blue effect is done by a filter on the dials, or whether it has blue bulbs in it.
