Chris Wilson
Very good idea, will help my tyre decision soon. Did notice the toyo r888s are not on the list and are the ones im thinking of getting. Some say there good, some say there bad in wet, just need to know considering our weather here, yet look the part and do well in dry You would be plain MAD to use these on a road car in the winter. Even as DOT stamped road legal track tyres go they are dire in the wet and especially standing water. A Michelin Pilot Sport Cup is far better in the wet as a specialist track tyre that's DOT legal. For a car that's just used to drive to track days in the summer I would say they are fine, but not as a UK winter tyre for use on the road. I'd say they stood a good chance of being cited in a court case if you ran someone over on a wet road, even if it was their fault.
L33
NOT doubting your judgement as a few have said how these are poor in the wet but why would they put these tyres on standard cars? like the megan sport i think it is? if they will be used all weather? L33
thats whats making me think they cant be that bad. ive spoke to a few thats used them and they say its a bit slippy in wet but isnt most tyres? i no i always go extra careful when it rains, dont trust a tyre so i can hit corners at speed when wet any how! i imagion its like running budgets just with great performace when dry

As told to me by Andy Walsh when commenting that he could feel that I had different tyres on the front and back while going quickly round corners. Fronts were Eagle F1's.
