tDR
You'd be better using a table on your first post and only you maintain it to save huge posts and loads of pages for a result. Everyone else then just states their tyre and what they want added. My entry: Falken FK-452 +1 One of the best road tyres out there for a Supra IMO, and I don't drive like a girl. The confusing system you've been using has so far made this look like a bad tyre when it's far from it - the score looks plain wrong. Were those -1's at the start people being confused trying to vote for it as their recommendation? I suspect that may be true. I've used many other tyres on the Supra and am voting for the FK-452 only as I rate it above Goodyear F1 GSD3's, GSD2's etc. I've used previously. Cheers, Brian. But then I would have to maintain it - I'm not on here often enough to do that (and as you'll see from the first post, I'm suggesting that members add other tyres if they want to). Confusing? Maybe for some. However, I think the negative scores for any tyre reflect some members' bad experience with that particular tyre - what's right for one car/driver obviously might be different for another. I was hoping that these differences would be balanced out as more members vote. That will only work if people are free to express their own opinions/experiences without external influence. Hopefully, they won't be swayed by other's comments or votes. Enough said I think. Tricky-Ricky
They are, as I said only the other day, I rate them on a par, or better than the Goodyear GS-D3's. You'll find there's a lot of tyre snobbery goes on because they're not one of the big names. I also reckon you'll find people slating normal road tyres because their semi-slick track day tyres provide better grip in the dry. You'd be better using a table on your first post and only you maintain it to save huge posts and loads of pages for a result. Everyone else then just states their tyre and what they want added. My entry: Falken FK-452 +1 One of the best road tyres out there for a Supra IMO, and I don't drive like a girl. I agree with both these statements, my experience's have always been very positive with Falken 451 and 452, But i am wondering if we need a clause that states only comment on the tyre IF you have your geometry set up correctly on your Supra. I have seen people slagging off good tyres because they have bad geometry, same goes for the "my single Supra steps out all over the place" must be too much power and bad tyres;)

It is true mate, I love the falken 452 tyre, I've had them fitted to my last three cars. I voted incorrectly at the start, and was then too baffled to do anything about it. spartan
I agree with both these statements, my experience's have always been very positive with Falken 451 and 452, But i am wondering if we need a clause that states only comment on the tyre IF you have your geometry set up correctly on your Supra. I have seen people slagging off good tyres because they have bad geometry, same goes for the "my single Supra steps out all over the place" must be too much power and bad tyres;) Please see my earlier comments regarding the 451 (post #64). I understand what you are saying about geometry. However, it is still my hope (increasingly vain) that weight of numbers will even out any differences caused by geometry, shoe size, etc. Although there's a trend starting, I think it's still far too early to call it (only 63 recommendations in total). spartan
It is true mate, I love the falken 452 tyre, I've had them fitted to my last three cars. I voted incorrectly at the start, and was then too baffled to do anything about it. Falken 452 FTW Oh dear, are you sure? I'm going to fix this for you by adding 1 to the 'would recommend' and taking 1 off the 'would not recommend' figures for the 452. If that's not right, please feel free to post again.
