No, but guessed there was something on as I was at work at Westbury and noticed a few tasty cars going down the A350.

Went out for a play, but by that time (bout 5.00) all I could find was a maniac pug and a ducati. Had a go with the bike but to much traffic to keep up, got a wave (of appreciation I think) at the end of the warminster bypass !

What did I miss ??

I saw a Red Supra there on the track (I think it was Wilfman) and a Gunmetal one which didn't go on the track.

I took my 1380 Mini and had two goes on the track but it was very very wet, tipping down for the first one and slight drizzle/mist on the second go. Still good fun though, two weeks worth of engine setting up and suspension alignment tweaking was worth it. I wouldn't have gone round any quicker in the Supra.

My dad and brother took the Cooper S Works and there was nothing between us on the 2nd outing (far too slippery for my dry weather beast on the first go). There were a few other Minis there lapping pretty quick but they were well past the limit of traction and showing excellent driving skills sliding round nearly all of the bends. I wasn't prepared to push it quite that much though in the wet!!

i was there with some friends.

the Red un was Attila who when i spoke to him was considering his 3rd turn around the track.

Lots of spins and offs, especially the golf ? that went off on pit straight ... didn't see what happened as we were watching them spin out on Quarry in the FWD's

yeah thats a good little video, i forgot my damn video camera though, i would have loved to have recorded my laps, there was an escort cosworth in my second session running some silly sized turbo, he kept lighting up all 4 wheels on the straights! i passed him at 120 just before folly :D

i was very impressed with how stable the car felt in the wet, it just shows what a difference good tyres and laser alignment will do for a cars handling

My last session was just after the Golf crashed. I was waiting to head into the pit straight when it happened. My car was the light blue (old type) Mini with the white roof. My brother was in the Cooper S Works, also light blue with a white roof.

i saw you too i was stood on the entrance to folly when the golf rolled, he went to pass a 200sx it looked like he panicked and backed off lost the back end and span onto the grass, as soon as he was on the grass it dug in and flipped the car! the guy is alright though, it was his first time on a track...
