Lets just say after removing my new supras wheels and putting it on wooden chocks to replace the calipers, it is still there. I have tried everthing to try and remove carrier bolts including full can of wd40 and just cant budge them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Scooter
have you got a long breaker bar? if not a 'disposable' 17mm spanner, and a hammer or jack would be the more animal methods of loosening!
Ian Ian
I know it sounds daft but are you "undoing" the bolt and not tightening them with them facing the otherway round to the way your look at them ? just an idea nearly caught me out once lol where in manchester are you ? let me know if your still stuck Cheers -Ian-
Homer
Had the same issue today and short of getting an impact wrench the only thing that would shift it was a 2.5 foot breaker bar and two people behing it. Never known one to be on so tight - wish people/garages would use torque wreches and correct settings when tightening these things up...
