Stained front window

I've just got back from a shopping centre and when I started driving I noticed that something in the underground car park had leaked onto my window. I suspect a leaking pipe from one of those overhead fire extinguishers.

The wipers and spray didn't get rid of it so I drove home and whipped out the car shampoo and cloth. I also noticed that it was all over my roof. Gave the roof and window a wash but still no joy. Went inside and got some Simoniz window cleaner and it still wouldn't come off, so I grabbed a bathroom scourer (with the white gentle pads) and it still won't come off.

Any suggestions?

ive polished glass before with G3 cutting compound on a buffer before with no issues what so ever. Cleaned up the huge mess i had on my windscreen. Could try that but only put it on a low speed and dont stay in 1 area to long or burn burn burn

Did you get it off the roof too?

Yup, Some t-cut for metallic paint. :)

Was getting a little worried after a while but thankfully it came off. I was starting to think that after going single I'd need a new windscreen and respray and to be honest, the spending on these cars just never stops, but luckily that lasted about 5 minutes and now I'm thinking about bigger injectors and a bigger turbo.... ;)
