Lee_e
:)hey guys As title suggests really, i have quite a loud noise from the front wheels when im moving very slowly i.e. 5mph or slower. its very intermitent,it also likes to do it when im pulling into my drive slowley on half lock, iv checked the clearance of the tyres etc i thought it could of been my arch linning but at low speeds i cant see it being that. it does vibrate the steering wheel very slightly and doesnt make the noise when im just idling, i have no idea what it could be , so any help would be great. Fitz
Is your car lowered? Suspension OK?
pistonbroke
Can you get a video of it. Or, jack the front of the car up and spin the wheels to see if there is any anomalies in the spinning, check for any grinding or irregularities. Check for excessive play, top to bottom and left to right.
Lee_e
standard suspension, only started doing it couple of weeks ago every now and then but now its doing it more often, i have a really shite phone and dnt own a digital camera cause im not into my photos at all [sHOCK][/sHOCK] ill try and get it jacked up this week and take a look, but i have a local tursted garage who look over most of my old cars for free so will have them check it for me. really cant think what it could be, any suggestions ?? i dont think it would be the springs or shocks , maybe sumthing rubbing behind wheel or something like that. Fitz
Could be a possibility. Then again, if it is something to do with suspension (not saying it is) but then I doubt you'll find out what is causing it as there will be less weight onto the car when it is jacked up.
