mkirby
yeh needs to be an all in one system with amp etc and speaker wise i'm not too bothered if its a 2.1, 3.1 or 5.1 system really as its not like i will be playing films on it, its just to beef up my online gaming experience and to annoy the wife when i turn it up LOL

Frank Bullitt
A mate has the 5.1 version and its fapping loud, great little setup, I was looking at the 2.1 to replace some busted PC speakers. The only problem I had with mine was the power cable running from the sub to the speakers broke. That aside the bass is amazing and the kit is superb for a cheap plug & play system. I haven't heard the 2.1 speakers running but if the rest of their kit is anything to go but can't see there being any problems.
pistonbroke
This thread has made me think, why do we have to resort to making 'game rooms'. All my expensive home cinema stuff is obviously in the living room, which obviously makes it the place that I want to play games in. When I'm shooting American brat kids in the face over xbox live, I want to see the whites of their eyes in stunning HD on a huge plasma screen, moments before their dying screams echos in glorious clarity around the room. Why can't the wives retire to a 'soap room', kitted out with tea making facilities and an iron, so they can watch their crappy programs, and do something productive at the same time.
