Piggy back units

So whats the flavour of the month then? I am going to chuck my AEM off a high building roof and go with a piggy back unit. The HKS F con s I have fitted is not tuneable by anyone in this hemisphere or so I believe so I need something else to replace it. Ideas please chaps.

1. Emanage Ultimate

2. SAFC? Will this work for a single?

Its burnt out the circuit board so needs replacing. The gear changes when it was working were diabolical especially first to second, and its been nothing but bother since DT installed it. There's only so much you will put up with before you lose the faith and skip it. Now the burnt out board may have something to do with the reversed polarity jump start some time ago or not. I'm not willing to buy another AEM for over a grand for it to give me the same bother basically.

Still have my SAFC :D and despite what the doom sayers preach ;) its been running great now for nearly 4 years (maxed out 550's and all), and has enough load sites to make a reasonable fist of mapping round the troublesome 4000rpm changeover, i run stock (UK) cams and a T61 producing a paltry 510 bhp, anything more than that may start getting a bit tricky for the old SAFC, however i do have an emanage ultimate ready to go on once i put my rebuilt engine in so i would say for a bit of future proofing go with the emanage. Talking of flavour of the month I believe Ryan intends to piggyback a Solaris onto the stock ecu for ease of auto box control, dont know how far he has got with this or whether indeed it is possible !

Michel advises you should have a piggy back with an auto (due to gear changes) and a standard alone if you have a manual.

I had an EMU on my auto single but both that we tried weren't functioning right (faults or something)

I have an Emange Blue GOLD on the supra now.

The difference is the scope of tuneability. Don't bother just going for the blue.
