monsween
Now i know that the weather changes this. So i waited for a warm day and im still making 1.2bar with a 1bar restrictor ring. Does the pressure rise as the revs rise, as in i only get the 1.2bar when coming up to 6K RPM, if i lift off at 5.5k ish then its like 1.15bar Cheers in advance

Jamesy
Best thing to do to keep in control is get a boost controller mate and set it to what u want to run at
RobSheffield
im making 1.4 bar with one cat in ,whats all that about . Thats a very bad thing, unless you are single. Best thing to do to keep in control is get a boost controller mate and set it to what u want to run at Boost controller cant lower boost, only raise it. CarlT67
Are you both getting these results in a long pull in a high gear....? Your 1Bar restrictor ring will just be generic so if you have a particularly strong set of turbos and/or a very free flowing cat back exhaust the results will allow for a higher boost with the same generic sized restrictor ring. I have hit boost cut once with both cats in, pulling in a high gear for sometime when it was very cold, not good with both cats in due to very high EGTs....! jacko
You also have to take into account the accuracy of boost gauges - they should be pretty good, but you never know
monsween
I have a Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller thats reading boost too. So far i havnt even turned on the boost controller as im running at 1.2bar. My idea was to run 1bar with it off and 1.2 with it on. I'm sure im hitting 1.2 on long pulls too. I'll check tonight if this rain clears up

Are you sure you have the AEM tru boost reading in Bar and not PSI? (14.5PSI = 1 bar) I know you can change it to read in either from the settings menu I know you have J-spec ceramics on your car, and don't think you'd get away with 1.5 bar for very long.
