getting ready for the pod so mods to my GTR R35

whilst there i changed the oil and filter.. it was not needed but might as well perfect chance to do it..

now get these y pipes off and all other stuff in the way to access the turbo downpipes..

 

 

this is a big job and not for someone with no patience

now the turbo downpies were off time to remove the stock actuators..

 

this is a pain in the ass job...

 

am still in process of getting these fitted few small issues to fix and then they will be in...

am also fitting some hks ssqv with polished pipes and hks drop in filter and also fitting some hks racing plugs

we also fitted some new retainer clips to the calipes..

 

you will get issues with your brakes clicking once you have done a few miles on them, factory missed them out.

its not going well for me, missed my race fuel mapping session yesterday as was busy at work and Ryan cant fit me in now, clutch is making a nasty noise, i dont think the single plate clutch will last many runs, im just gonna go for it in the morning with a few runs and hope for the best.

do you think you might still get a 10 ? or low 11 ??

 

am hoping to beat my old time of 11.91 ( i was stock then and car was 1 week old and i pulled away from 1000rpm)..

 

i think a mid 11 is a realistic target for me

yes all settle in now mate...hope you take your beast for a run too

 

It's just the cost of everything tbh mate. Prob cost £100 in petrol, £55 for drag time, £30 for camping over. I go on holiday 3 days after....

 

If I don't go for it myself I might get someone to do a run in it for me see what it can do...

i will have a go lol.. but your the best driver for it as your used to your set up i will probably stall it lol
