pistonbroke
They look nice but.... http://www.iloveracing.com/images/je103.jpg I would have chosen the BBS Le Mans Seriously dude, you shouldn't try to pull a splinter out of someone's eye, when you have a log in yours. Updated Garage So you recommend BBS to everyone as you've a keen eye for quality, and wouldn't like to be driving a car with alloys that apparently go "pop". Yet you put Dai alloys on yours.?!? Your alloys are considerably cheaper than my rotas, so your argument of not buying cheap wheels smacks of hypocrisy
Guest Carsten
Its not cause they are cheaper then yours... Barracuda is a renown brand which stands for quality. Yet your rotas may be more expensive. But they are so much reports of popping rotas. (from my old Honda times) THATS why i wouldnt by them. Even if they cost 10 grand a piece Edited July 29, 2009 by Carsten (see edit history)

Having been a member on the S2kI forums, the Rota wheels are the only ones that are considered to be the 'best choice' for the s2000. No one I know from the forums had any go 'pop', mine didn't go 'pop', and as far as I'm aware, this American dude who has them hasn't has his go 'pop'. *Shameless rota whoring*
Guest Carsten
Honda times are over since december. Drove a ej9/eg6/eg2 But its okay. If you like to drive rotas its your business. I didnt want to insult you in any way. Just telling you my experiences

j_jza80
Barracuda is a renown brand which stands for quality. Go to http://www.wheel-whores.com/ and ask them what they think of them. prepare to get flamed! The finish of Rotas always looks really good, but there must be some truth in what the yanks say about them (hopefully more than thier dyno figures ) The BBSs are the daddies, but they do cost big. bigbloodyturbo
very nice wheels, just wish they made them in 18". Is the lip laquered over? I like dishes like those but they always seem to corrode. And BBS LM's are the guts of 3k iirc.

My old Rota Slipstreams that I had on my S2000 were the same finish, and they were fine. Fingers crossed these'll be ok.

They were a favourite for the EKs and they are replicas of the Spoon wheels (in black) Just for referance: Rota Slipstreams - £80 each Spoon - £400 each They may look similar, but the price would suggest they are far from it. pistonbroke
Finally got the wheels then Dan Nice set and very shiny! Another piece of the puzzle completed , When will she be finished? I'm just putting the dash back in now. Then I'm waiting for a few more parts to arrive. I've ordered some new boot rubbers from Whifbitz which will hopefully be here soon. I've also ordered a HID kit from knightracer, to go in my new glass headlamps. While I'm waiting for them, I'll be changing the oil + filter and fuel filter. then it's going on a trailer to Southend for SUPRALOOPY to work his magic. Not sure how long it'll take him, possibly early September, she'll be out cruising the streets Thanks for all the kind comments fellas

pistonbroke
yeah, staying silver. But it'll be mint when Dave's had his way with it. As for the skirt blending, I need to sit down with Dave and discuss my options.
