Pete
Than what?? Better than your mangled hands clutching your clumsy XBox controller and your poor, poor dissatisfied and neglected wife listening to you swear and rant at Americans.

Carl_S
Are you sure the guy said it's a manger problem? In which case it could be sorted by a stable and a crib for a bed?
Konrad
You are a bit grumpy tonight Pete. Anyway, I'm off to play COD4 on the Xbox as it's miles better than the PS3..... H. I just cannot understand how on earth anyone can be a good player in FPP like COD4 without using mouse and keyboard? Those gamepads are sooo slow and innacurate! I agree with Pete - PC rulez! caseys
Your contract under the Sale Of Goods Act is with the retailer, not with the manufacturer. Jake is correct, you have to take it up with game, not the manufacturer. Be prepared to firmly stand your ground, take a print out of the above details from the guardian maybe or look up the EU rule. You have to maybe prove that it's defective, or show it's had no physical damage/misuse they may say. I'd say good luck, but it's not luck, it's the law! bigbloodyturbo
If you have any problems with game, contact consumer direct and if you ask nicely they send a written letter to the person that is not co-operating. Thats what they did when I had a problem with orange and phones4u a while back, it sorted a problem that had been going on for 5 months out in the space of a week:)
supra-lover
Hi guys thanks very much for all your help on this.. I rang game HQ this morning and made up a little story lol I told them that when I rang SONY they told me it was down to the shop that I bought it from to repair or replace under the new EU law lol lol ( WELL WORTH A TRY I THOUGHT) Well she didn't even try and worm her way out of it, she asked for the date of purchase which was 13th october 2007 and said thats fine, so I have got to send it to them recorded delivery and they will fix it OR replace it free of charge, I will even get the money back it costs to deliver it:) HAPPY DAYS Cant thank you enough for telling me about this new law. I wonder how many 1000's of people that have just paid up the £145 for nothing.

Yes, it's been a law for a little while, people just don't know about it and companies unfortunately play on peoples ignorance And as you can see, once someone who knows about it mentions it they just back down completely. Now add me on PSN when you get it fixed so I can whoop you at a few games! My ID : count0interrupt
