Animal Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Is there a microswitch on the sidestand? Sometimes they stick and some bikes won't let you start them if the stand is down. Check the plug for oil or moisture, check the filter for dirt etc. Check the fuel filter if there is one for blockage. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
brettjones Posted July 29, 2009 Author Share Posted July 29, 2009 Well got the bike to my mates garage and its piston ring very low on compression and the clutch is slipping.Looked at the digital dash at max speed and the boy has hit over 60 so he must have been on full beans.Thanks for everyones input.Its in my mates safe hands now just have to put up with a pi----f 16 year old:rolleyes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
