sdistc
It does seem to build boost very well though..... http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=174553&stc=1&d=1378219184 Nice.. though looks like you're going to get through some tyres with that response! Steve
Just to add, the injectors and turbo are now maxxed but I wont be going for anymore now This was at 1.8bar boost which on the dyno it made by 4000rpm
Luxluc
Wow Steve. Impressive result. Your turbo pushes more than mine (mine was maxed out at 1.5 bar). Congrats.
Steve
Luc, was yours the 'quick response' or the 'High Flow' version?
Luxluc
HF version mate. It may be due to my old (3 years old) turbo being upgraded with billet internals. Your's is a complete new turbo. I checked again. My setup pushed 760 rhhp at 7750rpm @1.5 bar. Above 7750 rpm, power dropped. When Ryan raised the boost, he had the impression it overspun. It didn't take any more boost above 1.5. Your's pushes a lot at relative low revs. Wow. Paul Whiffin
Very nice Steve, glad to see our manifold and wastegate setup creating a faster spooling engine once again. What turbo was that with exactly?

Paul Whiffin
Is that your twin WG mani? Yep. We tested it against an HKS manifold and gained 500rpm of spool up which is rather a lot!

Steve
Traction is errr, interesting. Now looking for wider wheels and tyres I got Ryan to switch the Syvecs traction control on to help out for now.
Luxluc
Hehe. My Michelin Cup tires only stick in 3rd when properly warmed up. With Ryan on the passenger seat, TRC kicked in at 100mph
johnny g
Steve, can highly recommend the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Got them on the GT-R. Superb tyre.
Luxluc
I don't think a street tire will give enough grip on a Supra with that much torque Johnny.
