mplavery
Just done my course on the new XJ..What a car..Again they have saved more weight making the car as light as poss like not doing any welding on the as its to much weight etc etc The new 5.0L supercharge engine in the XF, XK and the new XJ gives out 503 bhp and the exhaust sounds awesome with the valves opening up on full throttle, sounds like it has been decatted lol I drove the new XF 5.0L supercharged..wooo thats quick with the 6 speed auto box..same car they got 220mph out of with some tiny tweeks Anyways the new XJ and landrover do this as well have the best instrument pod out... It as a virtual screen showing different menu's showing in like a 3d effect, Never seen anything like it before awesome!! Also the screen in the centre has like triangle pixels so the driver can view the sat nav for instance and the passenger can watch a dvd on the same screen..!!! There is so much to talk about this car like the 21 speaker set up etc lol.. wish i could show you the vid i done my course on but im not able to, but here is a little clip from youtube . . mplavery
I guess I'll grow to love it *from a classic XJ lover* It is a great car, now alot of people will say they hate the rear end, but its one of those things that takes getting used to, thats what i said but i now love it...Jaguar really have gone up a level... jevansio
TBH, considering they've changed a shape that has been similar for what 40 years, I already think it's a beautifull car. If I could say one thing they should have put the XJ to bed & created a new model to top the range.

merckx
I like all of it apart from the rear end. I'm always amazed at how millions are spent by huge manufacturers designing cars like this and almost eveyones first impression is "I don't like the rear end". Why on earth couldn't they avoid this happening and make it look nice like the rest of the car? They made the same mistake with the latest Mondeo. http://allcarsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/81557.jpg
