Cars tuned to do a blistering Standing Quarter are not what this event is about. Over the mile distance every day useable performance cars have a chance to negate the advantage of shorter gearing etc. Popping and Banging Launch Control, Parachutes, Nitrous and cars decorated like fairground rides have no place at Fighting Torque.
