Scott
How hard is it to take out the rear brake light? You know the center one with the LED's. Sorry for not going out to check, i'm having a lazy day. I'm looking to tint it and wondering if its an easy enough job to get to. Cheers

MrRalphMan
If you're too lazy to do a search I wouldn't be attempting that..
michael
Just walk around the car until you reach the back, there it is, very easy to get to even if you start right up by the bonnet. If you mean you want to remove it and are wondering how to do that then it's a little bit more involved. If you can't click the search button I suspect it's way beyond your skill level. HTH. I take it i just remove the plastic from under the bootlid and can access from there? I did a search but i guess i searched for the wrong thing. When i typed in the heading a few threads came up, also, with no help. The car is in the, dark, garage out the back, i'm sitting bollock naked all but a dressing gown and i'm not drunk enough for "indecent exposure", as its windy
patrikbrunt
I swapped a tailgate this week and had to swap over the brake light too... is simple to remove using a deep 10mm socket... but a bit of a pain to get back in. There are two metal brackets that clamp the light into place, be sure to take note of which way they are located when you remove them, as I put them in the wrong way to start with and almost broke the light because of it!! Thorin
You'll need a rubber mallet, hacksaw, 1/2" socket, screwdriver, pliers, blowtorch, angle grinder, and a set of allen keys in varying sizes. Easy, good luck.
