L33 Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 just a couple of pics from my gt4088, and full engine rebuild-build, obviosly not quite finished yet, and that heat shield is just a example, it is going to be bigger! will post my full mod list tomo but the spec is pretty large, 15k large to say im excited is a understatement! should see her back soon, i cant wait, hoping for 600bhp!! big thanks to all those who have helped me along the way.. toyota gt for the work, whifbitz for loads of parts, heckler for sorting my gauges out, shane for supplying me with a lot of stuff and every one else thats helped, big thanks! L33 Posted July 22, 2009 Author Share Posted July 22, 2009 planning to run 1.5 bar max i think ? ryan g is hopefully going to mo to do a soft map to start running it in! i recon the box will be ok thats y ive gone for such a big high stall, hoping the cooler and fan will do the job if not i will stick another in! have a gauge to keep a eye on it! Rich Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 I would remove that silicone elbow from the compressor if I were you.Get a metal elbow welded on as I have seen a few of those elbows near the manifold getting too hot and failing. L33 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Share Posted July 23, 2009 i will try and break it down, this will also help people planning a single build them selves... i bought a nackered engined single turbo supra that i used.. gt4088 turbo, LSD, twin fuel pumps, 3 core fmic, 44mm tial waste gate, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, boost controller, custom down pipe, screamer pipe, aem air to fuel ratio gauge £4500 then ive bought.. boost logic auto box £1500 3800 high stall £700 hks 264 cams, greddy emanage ultimate and wiring harnesses £1500 wiseco forged pistons £500 sard 800cc fuel injectors £500 hks ssqv £200 polished rad pipe £55 polished intake manifold £100 modify standard fuel rail to take twin feeds to replace tacky ebay jobby £80 25 row gear box rad, gates cam belt, hks pullys, oil pump, water pump and hks FCD £1000 full engine bearing kit, ARP head stud kit, full engine gaskets £560 defi control box, boost, oil temp, oil pressure and glove box carbon pod £780 defi egt gauge £150 second defi oil temp gauge £200 gear box rad fan £130 gas bonnet struts, 2 pod door pillar pod £120 full uk brake set up and stainless hoses £1422 3 inch blitz 2nd decat, coil pack clips £180 and a private plate £300 well that comes to £14447 lol and spent about 1k on bits of labour, boring out block for bigger pistons, putting LSD from the supra i bought to mine stil have rest of labour to pay and mapping but that will come just under 4k i expect Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You used to get lots of responses very quickly moons ago I dunno if this is this forum in particular, or a general early disinterest in forum culture across the internet.
