Kopite
Right, i'm with Orange and plan on staying with them but I want an iPhone - why not go to O2 you might ask, well I used to be with them and had nothing but bother with them changing my contract for no reason and not telling me etc etc. I'm due an upgrade soon and was thinking of buying an unlocked iphone and using my Orange SIM in it. So the upgrade I get through Orange will just be to stick on ebay most likely. I have a choice of any handset on Orange, what'd be the best one to get to sell on? I'm thinking the Touch HD, seem to go for around £450 on Ebay, Blackberry Curves and the Nokia 5800 seem to be less than £300, considered the N97 as that seems around £400 and in demand. Which would be the best? Cheers
jamesmark
Iirc the iPhone contract with 02 is set and will not change in the 18 months. Was when I got mine. Been with 02 for years and my contract only changes at the end of the term.
Kopite
Iirc the iPhone contract with 02 is set and will not change in the 18 months. Was when I got mine. Been with 02 for years and my contract only changes at the end of the term. It's how it's meant to be but mine was changed (this was about 6 years ago) but my mate had it happen to her a few months ago. Was meant to be 1000 mins and unlimited texts (so 3000/month), she got a bill for about £300 and when asking, was told she was 100 mins a month and 120 texts or something and that she'd have to prove otherwise! Needless to say she left O2 there and then. Just don't trust them, Orange are more pricey but never had any bother off them service wise
Missile
I'd give O2 another shot. Think the contract with the I phone is pretty solid. Other wise the Blackberry Curves and the Touch HD to sell on. There is a phone with a 12 megapixel camera on its way out soon, Might not be a bad one to sell on.
Fitz
Iphone is set to launch on T-Mobile and Orange in October. Can you wait?
martini
O2 and the iPhone rock. Winning combination. I haven't had any problems with them at all. £35per month and it's all good. Give them another shot. Keep records of everything and that way they can't screw you.

martini
I've heard rumours about this for ages but nothing concrete, any links? This is all speculation. There is no reason to expect this at all. It's with O2 for a fair while guys.
Abz
This is all speculation. There is no reason to expect this at all. It's with O2 for a fair while guys. Yes all speculation, the iPhone was rocked 02 sales! Was papers recently Nokia suffered a 90% loss in profit and they blamed it on the iphone! 02 know they are on a winner! A lot of people have most over to 02 just to have the phone.... me on the other hand has brought an iphone and running jailbreak to run it on T-mobile! I love it! Fitz
I work for a mobile phone company, and we get weekly updates on what is going on in the "mobile" world. So far it was set for September, but due to other brands having paid for release spots the iPhone has been pushed back to October. Unfortunately I don't have a confirmed date but, it's speculated to be around the 15th.
Fitz
The iPhone 3G S will stay an o2 exclusivity though. Only the 3G version will go onto T-Mobile and Orange though so if you're after the latest one o2 all the way. They are a great network though. I'd give them another shot. Kopite
Yeah it's the 3gS one i'd be after, so which Orange upgrade phone from the other companies (Blackberry, HTC etc) would be the best to sell on?

Fitz
Blackberry is always in High Demand. I sold my Bold upgrade on ebay recently it went for £280, good price as I got it for free. But go for the one that will fetch you the most money. hang on for the n86 should be around the 450 mark and will be big demand for it with its 8meg wide angel camara Ahh, the N86, I'm waiting for this release. Should be good it's Nokia's first 8MP Camera (IIRC)
Kopite
When's the N86 meant to be out?
Miguel
What about the new HTC Hero you can get free with Orange. Would that not scratch the iPhone itch for you? The pull of the iPhone is strong, but I'm not willing to leave Orange for it. 15 years of service with very little problems is hard to walk away from. Saying that, I can count the upgrades I've had on 3 fingers
