michael
...I need to get an idea of the resolution most folks are using when accessing this website.... Laptop: 1440x900 Home PC1: 1360x768 PC on TV Home PC2: 5040x1050 on Matrox Triplehead2go Work PC's: 15360x1200 (8x1 configuration) or more on Matrox datawalls So you view the forum over 3 or 8 screens? Fine if you do, I use 2 sometimes, I just don't think I've ever had to view anything so wide that I'd need my browser over 8 screens. Sounds more like 1680x1050 x 3 and 1920x1200 x 8 to me but I guess that wouldn't swell your undies quite so much
michael
is this 3 pages of screen resolution talk? *yawn* I bet it's only 1/8 of a page if you have Multics 8 screen resolution. And set your settings to show more posts per page.

Homer
Thanks for the input all, with 20% of people using 1024 width the Excel sheets will have to stay as they are. Sorry for odd sizes in the poll, I got them off a wiki article (obviously not a very good one )
cheekymonkey
Homer it's not clear if you are after absolute resolution (why??) or the width of the browser used to view the forum. I know it's fashion for Windows users to have a maximised browser but this is getting less common now.
Homer
Homer it's not clear if you are after absolute resolution (why??) or the width of the browser used to view the forum. I know it's fashion for Windows users to have a maximised browser but this is getting less common now. It's the pixel width I'm interested in. It's for some excel files I'm working on for the club (i.e. not within the browser). It's be a lot easier to make them for 1280 width or above, but wanted to get an idea of the number of people using below this size.
