Max Headroom
Has anyone else noticed that supermarkets seem to be ditching the .99p price. The phycological barrier created by the 99p price tag seems to be on the side lines. In our local supermarket, things are being sold for £1. At least it boosts the profits. Max Headroom
So you've seen something that used to cost 99p and is now £1? It use to be things were £1.99 or £2.99 and now they are £2 or £3. The .99 use to be a way of making something appear cheaper, use of pyhcology by the supermarkets.

Ewen
I bet you weren't a bit surprised she knew. Nope. She also told me about a chap who handed in over a million pennies, and several thousand pounds back. I'm missing something here surely.
