Paul Whiffin
I have this turbo kit available at the moment, dont know what make it is but it does look like a nicely made manifold. Turbo looks like it could be a Greddy unit as it has Mitsubishi stamped on it, should know tomorrow what the turbo is hopefully. Comes with external wastegate, downpipe/midpipe, HKS air filter(I'll put a new element in), HKS heatshield, oil feed pipe, oil return pipe, I'll supply a new manifold to turbo gasket and manifold to wastegate gasket. Basically its a complete kit, £1600. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/2ndhandparts/turbokit2.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/2ndhandparts/turbokit3.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/2ndhandparts/turbokit4.jpg

Scott
Hi mate when u say comlete kit what else is needed to go from bpu to single? Piggyback ECU, decent clutch and injectors would be recommended too.

Scott
Forgot to mention i have An auto. So thats it is it? I always thought to go single cost was 5-15k Your box will break if you put too much torque through it. You would need to get an uprated box or go manual. Single will cost you 5k on parts to do it properly. You are saving about 2k buying this kit. A lot of money goes on labour and mapping.
Paul Whiffin
Hi mate when u say comlete kit what else is needed to go from bpu to single? You'll need injectors, ecu, autobox cooler, there the major parts required. Your autobox should take 500bhp easily enough, we've got customer cars running more than that for many years with no problems.
Paul Whiffin
That looks like a T78 kit to me. Dont think it is, manifold doesn't look right, unless its a really early version.
JamieP
Dont think it is, manifold doesn't look right, unless its a really early version. I noticed the joining bars on the flange are different but that turbo looks just like a 78 (4 bolt downpipe and vband cold side) as you say maybe an early one. Paul Whiffin
I should know more tomorrow hopefully. I'll see if I can see anything written on the wastegate as well.

I wonder what auto boxes some of the big bhp auto guys use for +500 bhp
supradibbs
Dont think its a T78
adrianstokes
If you think it's a Greddy turbo I'd think it was more likely a TD07-25G, one size down from the T78 - the actual turbo unit looks very similar to one I saw a few months back. Uses the same 4-bolt downpipe etc. If it were it should make a very nice setup on a Supra and is good for ~600bhp.
Paul Whiffin
Right, just got word back from my turbo supplier, he reckons its a Greddy T78 turbo, looks like a small exhaust housing to me, never seen one that small but they are available in a few different sizes. Any questions just ask.

adrianstokes
Bargain, want to do a swap, LOL. I still think it's a TD07-25G - which is what I was originally after .
