Homer
NA-T? A nightmare for heat issues. Just how close is the silicon from the manifold? Do you know the brand of the hose you have used? I used race spec stuff from thinkauto, it worked fine even with close manifold distances, but there is a limit to how far any silicon hose will last. Chris Wilson
Silicone hose will be a lot better than rubber, but ideally the outlet shouldn't be near the exhaust manifold in the first place, so you will have to sort out some serious heat shielding for long term reliability. JamieP
I would weld on an extension to keep the join away from the heat but you could try this stuff. http://www.viperperformance.co.uk/plainpage.php?pgId=
Chris Wilson
That looks the business, should help a lot!

They are the same make up as the items from thinkauto, but more expensive once the p&p was included.
dr_jekyll
the hose i used was cheap crap to be hones and it was rubber. the oultel is verry close to the manifold about 1cm gap so wen the hose is on with a clam abou 5mm . the manifold is heat wraped though. i used a logpro hose on my last turbo that was silicone and that lasted about 5000 miles before it started to crack rather than melt thas viper stuff looks good i think ill give that a try. Chris Wilson
It'll still need wrapping with aluminised heat reflecting cloth.
