RedM
Nothing to see here. I just thought it'd be nice to start a run of book titles as thread titles.

Chris Wilson
Mein Kampf, by Adolf Hitler, Chairman Mao Zedong, by Chairman Mao, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, by Beatrix Potter, The High Speed Internal Combustion Engine, by Ricardo. Something for every taste here, surely?

I'm shocked that Enid Blyton didn't feature in that motley line-up

Chris Wilson
I like the way you mix mass murdering dictators with children's authors. I'm shocked that Enid Blyton didn't feature in that motley line-up Thought she was a bit too right wing and dodgy for you lot, what with servants, a manly girl called George and hints of children doing terrible things to Timothy the dog, featuring ion her stories. I think you're right - Hitler is one thing, Blyton is quite another God help us if she had ever gone into Politics

andygood
'The Crow Road' by Iain Banks 'It was the day my grandmother exploded. I sat in the crematorium, listening to my Uncle Hamish quietly snoring in harmony to Bach's Mass in B Minor, and I reflected that it always seemed to be death that drew me back to Gallanach.' Love Iain Banks and his alter ego Iain M. Banks Have you ever read "complicity"? what a F&*ked up book. He must be seriously warped. Or "The Wasp Factory" again very perverse

I was having problems with my retro thrusters and the local ford dealership just couldn't fix them. With this manual, some double sided tape and some sticky backed plastic I now have a fully functioning moon module once again. If you have the Apollo 11 at home you really must buy this. (N.B. This is no good for the Apollo 13 version which had the exploding side panels fitted).
