j1mb0b1
I think my CC is taking its speed from the wrong side of the converter as my CC will not go past 70MPH, I have been looking at a old thread and Pete posted up this http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=41271&d=1155130071 My question is am I right in saying I need to cut and connect number 20 on the cruise control ECU and connect it to number 5 on the speedo connector, If I do this the cruise control should have the correct speed input and I can cruise above 70mph ? I need to get this sorted for next week as I'am off to germany and wish to cruise faster than 70mph . Thanks Jamie.
SteveR
Have you got that speedo convertor (the Thor unit) fitted? It's not pin 5 from the convertor, it's the 5:8 ratio signal - i.e. the mph signal. Other than that, yep you're right.
