RedM
What was that car game that had a sort of twisty road layout on a circular platter. It rotated and you had to steer the car to keep on the track?
Charlotte
Atmosfear? I think you might be right! I was obsessed with those glasses things too, with a computer game in them. Rubbish description.
michael
I was obsessed with those glasses things too, with a computer game in them. Rubbish description. Like a Viewmaster but with "3D"? I seem to remember a red one that was a kind of racing game and something to do with submarines, can't remember what they were called though. Willson
I loved any electonic game. The best ones were always the ones that I didnt have!
Animal
I had the racing car Tomytonic game and I still have the submarine one which I converted to look like the electro-binoculars from Star Wars (yes, I AM that geek).
Willson
I had Firefox F-7. And my neighbour had BMX-Flyer. Its tempting to buy a load off of ebay, but I think the novelty would quickly wear off. Very nostalgic though.

This made the B road speed-demon that I am today. http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/2873/raw1215017871.jpg That looks pretty awesome! I seem to remember a similar thing where the car was on a magnet and you could drive it around a town. It was fully enclosed in a clear plastic "tank". Another neighbour had this: http://www.timewarptoys.com/mrsrobs2.jpg Rock'em Sock'em Robots, I think there is a newer one you can still buy, suspect it's not quite as fun as I remember though. I think every house in the country had this one though: http://www.timewarptoys.com/masterm.jpg

AlexJames
Ahhh I used to have one of those!!! Isn't it odd how all those years ago something really basic could give you months of amusement, or maybe it was just me? The Turnin' Turbo Dashboard, one of the tools that made me the awesome driver I am today http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=95755&stc=1&d=1247561804 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=95756&stc=1&d=1247561804 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=95757&stc=1&d=1247561804 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=95758&stc=1&d=1247561804 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=95759&stc=1&d=1247561804 I'd also like to think that my little Kettler go-kart, red pedal car with drift tyres, Gran Trak 10, REVS, Pole Position, Final Lap, Outrun, Spy Hunter, Hard Drivin' and various other 10p > 30p a go games... when they went up to 50p and £1.00 a go it was cheaper to buy a real car. Matchbox also played a huge part in my early life, thanks again tiny cars. Have you always been a car nut or is it something a specific car brought on for you? michael
http://www.stuffwelove.co.uk/images/bigtrak%20n%20box.jpg Great advertising, disappointing toy - too much maths and not enough fun. I think I still have mine somewhere, I have a trailer too but it's broken, probably delivered too many apples to thrilled family members Pew pew pew! Turn 90 degrees, move forward, hit skirting, screw up rest of moves, get bored. u6V-tuOf3dE
