Matt H
Our manager isnt English nor are much of his staff, i think thats a disgrace as well. Meh, managers are over rated. I agree he should be English but i'm not too bothered about that. It's the players that win the game, not the old guy on the bench watching
Matt H
How far back would you like to go to get a purely genetic English team? If there is indeed a pure Englishman...with no traces of Viking or Celt etc Born and bread in England is good enough for me... racist

Lbm
If you call me that one more time...oh cElt! Can we change your nick to nitpick? Nitpick is absoultely fine with me - although it's still a reasonably interesting question - what is English? Any thoughts...?

hoff
As a utd fan, I can't blame him for going. We got to cocky and left it too late to offer him a decent contract. The fact that he's gone to city rather than Liverpool is better in my opinion. Liverpool will always be our biggest rivals.
stevie_b
also clubs have huge say in weather That's it, football clubs are waaay too powerful.

We offered one in March apparently. 5 year deal, in the top 4 paid united players, sounds pretty good to me. He and his agent are greedy little tikes and as for the club on the up etc i will laugh my nads off if they dont qualify for chumps league next season. RiceRocket
The fact that he's gone to city rather than Liverpool is better in my opinion. Relief for Liverpool fans as well, the only real position for him in our 1st choice team was Kuyt's and Kuyt is better there for the team, otherwise he's just Torres understudy. We offered one in March apparently. Way too late after SAF dicked him around by not starting him enough in the really important matches
fizzle
fair play to him, i would go work for a rival company if they offered better money and happier working conditions.. at the end of the day its a job! yes the money involved is ridiculous but its not his fault! f**k the man utd scumbags i hope he gets a hat-trick against them and teabags fergie in the after match interview.. they get most of their cash from silly little bitches buying the tshirts because they fancy over rated players, and only win things due to dodgy reffing and extra time. bout time someone gave them the finger, preferably without the courtesy spit before insertion.... Havard
If they cap the wages all the best players will just go abroad, back abroad in most cases. Make it world wide then. Although that would be difficult with exchange rates changing. I just think that the sport is being ruined. It's more of a soap opera now than a game..... H. Kopite
What about Michael Owen? He's a hero to a lot of Man United fans for signing to piss Liverpool fans off. Can't really be moaning about Tevez while kissing Owen's arse Same with Paul Ince, Man United fans were raging then and we loved it, the City fans will just do the same. Meko
We offered one in March apparently. . according to Fergie on Sky Sports News it was in January and he ignored it, then he phoned him twice on holiday and he ignored it again. If he ignored him in January he can't complain about sitting on the bench for the rest of the season. He says it's an exciting prospect going to City and he's looking forward to winning trophies with them... to be fair, i doubt he's ever won the Intertoto Cup.
