supramkivcork
Have ya tried arb insurance, st. pauls travellers insurance, asgard insurance mate ? or buy something really cheap, don't even tax it or put it on the road, you'd buy something at an auction for about 100 quid, register supra in parents name and drive it with open insurance maybe... No, thats a good idea, I've never heard of those two last companies. Any numbers for them? Who have you got your policy with?
supramkivcork
I don't mate, just names I've heard crop up before when people had difficulty insuring high performance stuff and n/a supras ! Haha My father has a policy with axa on his supra, it allows any driver aged 25-70 (woo-hoo)to drive on it as part of it's open policy. 670 euro last year, up again in august. I was considering asking my mother to switch her policy from her rav 4 onto my supra and then me transfer my policy to her rav 4. I put her as a named driver on my policy so she would be fully comp on the rav. Only problem is she strange woman in the way she doesn't like doing things like that
Lbm
supra TT 6speed manual import - im 24 - 4 years no claims - 3 points and £370 fully comp....i was happy lol That's very good. Scott
supra TT 6speed manual import - im 24 - 4 years no claims - 3 points and £370 fully comp....i was happy lol What insurance company is that with? I dare say there is a mistake there somewhere. I'm 29 in a mint area (insurance wise), no points, no claims no nothing and i'm just under £500. To get an insurance quote like that under 25 is unheard of.
a98pmalcolm
no no i checked with them made sure all my details are correct and im insured to drive anyone elses car 3rd party! Ok its a wierd one with how it worked. I went to gocompare.com and the cheapest for my corrado G60 last year was through MasterQuote they called me up the next day and offered it cheaper so i was like "err ok" any way... a year on i bough the supra...called up my current insurer MasterQuote and went though the details with them. She didnt beleive it her self so we went though it alll again and yep! computer says £370 Fully Comp so got my documents and its all genuine But i did it though there web site out of interest and it was way over £1k but it was discounted via the phone. BUT NO MISTAKES! lol

My insurer made a mistake and put me down as a TT Supra manual instead of a TT Supra manual RZ.
Abz
supra TT 6speed manual import - im 24 - 4 years no claims - 3 points and £370 fully comp....i was happy lol I have no idea how you managed that! I am paying £900 a year TPFT and I am 24 with 6 years NCB & clean license! Living in London makes it more expensive for me...but still that is stupidly low! Want to swap insurance? Regards to your insurance dilemma I noticed when you was comparing the skyline and the Supra... you mention the GT being the 2.0 engine and the Supra being 3.0 both NA I know but 1.0 is like having another small engine in there! Plus with it being RWD more chance of overpowering and stacking it! I'd say it is because of this you have such a difference as the GT would be RWD (presume its the Neo 6 engine) but you would be looking at 180bhp? Vs the Supe NA? a98pmalcolm
no no it says Supra Manual RZ Twin Turbo aswell on the documents! As i said she ran it though twice as we both couldnt belive it.. Its was £395 to start with but the had the 500XV Alarm fitted and then went down to £370 a few weeks after the policy started!
