Well it deffo was/is Swine Flu. GP recons I had it since last Tuesday and I am to stay at Home till Tuesday (another two days, BORING). I been feeling like crap and been in agony for days, but today for the first time since last Tuesday, I have got up and am not aching all over the place and finally starting to feel like my Bitchy self again lol. jacko
Tbh anyone with a temperature at the minute is getting diagnosed with Swine flu. I was "diagnosed" last Tuesday but im not totally convinced. I had a really bad head ache, usual aches, a tickly throat and was lethargic (no change there), but that was about it. One day i felt a bit better and then the next day i felt worse and that has carried on right up until today, still feeling crap. Whatever it is i wish it would bugger off! creative
well ive also caught something. I did the online test and up until today I didn't have the fevers but fitted every other criteria! Was given a collection number and thats it. Now im not convinced and I wont be taking tamiflu due to the side effects. I'm fairly resilient to colds and flu's so I'm gonna ride it out but I have got an appointment with my GP today regarding my eyes so may take it up with him and see what he says. I was the same as you mate no Fever to speak of just a little raised but everything else and it wasn't pleasant, I also didn't bother with Tamiflu with my GP's advise that all it actually does apart from make you feel even worse is make you less infectious quicker. Took safe Option though and am staying at Home till tomorrow (7 days). I am now pain free day two just a cough remains, so it's all good. Charlotte
I was informed by a doctor (well several) that if you don't have the high temperature you have a flu virus or a harsh cold. It's the very high temp very quickly that makes it obvious.

Havard
Sorry I confusing AIDS with a fatal and incurable illness. Obviously it is funny. Glad you changed your mind..... I think you may be taking this a wee bit too seriously Martin. People have died of Swine Flu but it still doesn't stop people cracking jokes. Maybe that is the way certain people deal with the worry eh?? I whole heartedly apologise to anyone reading this thread with Aids. It was insensitive and cruel..!! Is that better? H. Ewen
Sounds like Aids to me.... There are plenty of other levels, not just the lowest one. You should try them sometime. (snigger)
