:(

Just heard I didnt get the job I was after for nearly 5 months.

I am getting really worn down; its now 1 year since the tribunal and some 15 months since I worked.

I have bben studying hard for NCC in Systems Analysis which has gone well but the opportunities are few and far between. 30 years in bloody management and now I cant see the way forward at all :( and all this because of some pink shirted t**t without the balls to admit he was in the wrong. Financially things not too bad but something has to happen soon. I have tried all the Internet/Consultants - nothing; my CV is fine according to everyone so I aint paying someone to rewrite it.

Is there anyone here who can offer anything for me.??/

soory for rant feeling drained after this call.

so much for living in Utopia

Your probably too honest!

Most CV's are full of bullshit, something like 75% are full of lies or hyped up.

Problem is that the people doing the interview can't see this and usually don't know the advertised job well enough to suss out who's telling lies.

The only way to compete these days is at the very least to stretch the truth a little or just outright lie as it gets your foot in the door and then work hard on trying to keep the job after. Not a good situation I admit but one created by inexperienced HR depts.
