juddering brakes

you have not said how it is vibrating?? through the car under heavy braking...will be rears!or felt through the steering wheel under normal to heavy braking, then it will be the front!

Would be an idea to check for the cause too...sticking calipers or slides, if you take it for a spirited drive with some nice heavy braking, to get them nice and hot you might source it by jacking one wheel up at a time right after this...give each wheel a spin and check for binding or a disc much darker than the rest...or something else which is called fishtailing these are lines running across a disc and look for hot spots(high spot areas)...these can all cause brake judder, please note though sometimes these are on the inside of the brake disc and can not be seen from the outside through the wheel.

better still if you have a friendly mot mate get him to run it on the rollers to check for brake imbalance.

If not a dti gauge will also show it up, but you really have to know what your looking for when doing that...

hope this helps a little and good luck :-)

It could possible be a worn wheel bearing sometimes this causes vibrating when braking and you would feel it through the steering wheel.

Jack the car up and see if theres any play in the wheel by trying to tilt it and wobble it side to side.

Easy job to do to find out and least you can rule that out.
