Roy was going to be in the TOTB team again this year but he can't make the car quiet enough :(

He went on to run a 10.6 later on I believe.

Was a good day for MR2s it seems, one of the cars that is in the team ran a 9.722 @ 144mph at Shakespere today.

it is mental mic, totb have killed the event

It's those damn locals putting pressure on the owners of the venue, TOTB are just being forced to play by the rules the council have put in place :(

It's a huge shame and I bet the big money generating F1 testing still happens during the week without any noise limits :(

A shame but this seems to be happening to more and more venues.

Bloody hell - just shows you how much traction there is to be had on a main event day like that at Pod with the sticky surface. A drag auto Supra with a lot of power could do something real special at such a day :)

Looks like he was very shocked it did it given how quick he jumped off the power and slammed it back on the deck. I know most of us would have the same reaction especially given you can't steer / see the track but easing off the throttle gently would have placed it back on the ground without risk of damage to the suspension or chassis. Is the car 100% after that?
