Chris Wilson
Trying to buy some electronic gear and the Power Seller with 99.9% feedback let me have an Ebay number for the same product currently offered only at auction, where I could have a buy it now option, as I wanted it quickly, as a present. When I try and purchase I get a message saying "Pre-approval required". Why is this? I have e-mailed the seller and awaiting a reply, but was wondering what the idea behind this is? Thanks. hogmaw
It could be because the seller has specified pre-approval for bidders with a feedback less than a certain number. How many feedbacks do you have?
madmike
would this be so he knows its you buying it at the buy it now price ?

Chris Wilson
would this be so he knows its you buying it at the buy it now price ? I wondered that Mike, but he said he had the thing up at both auction and separately as a buy it now, but I had to ring him to get the Ebay number for the buy it now ad, as I couldn't find it with a search. Thanks.
