nad300
Just in case anyone is after an evo 6 tommi makinen ralliart edition no 200 on 51 plate (2001) private plate has been removed white, usual spec, which consists of suede interior with tme logo, brembo brakes, samco hoses.blitz rad cap, stainless exhaust, elec windows/mirrors, 17" oz racing alloys, clifford security, showing 69k miles, 2 previous keepers very clean car, apart from few stone chips on lower part of front bumper please note only major bad point is car will need a new engine/bottom end rebuild as it has a cracked block apart from that car is all good a good used engine can be bought for approx £1000/£1300 im after only £6895 ovno which imo is a bargain considering the tme ralliart edition usual sell for around £10k atleast so even if you spend say around £2k on engine/labour still making good saving car is hpi clear, can supply reg/chassis if anyone wants to do a check pics attached

nad300
do you know why the block cracked? no, as i bought car as it is from auction, possibly crank walk which is common on evo's basically means that the crankshaft hits the block causing the damage, according to the info on evo forum. nad300
Can you explain to me the advantages of the Tommi edition over say this car - http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1133814.htm main advantage is that 250 of tommi editions are uk spec cars which were officially imported by mitsubishi uk in 2001 mine being no 200 apart from that there is only cosmetic differences to front bumper/interior, everything else is the same
Pete
That's disappointing. I've always liked these cars, especially the VI, but I guess you'd really need to be an enthusiast to want to put this one back together.
