Mine will be for my single too. I'm keen on the multibuy discount thing if we can get this moving pretty quickly. Their website lists TDI as a distributor in the UK but I'm loathe to deal with them. Maybe lightning will do discount too?

i can ask lightningforce if you want they are not the quickest at replying. i am ready to buy now also

that's the one you need, and good idea is to get a new flywheel at the same time and break it in for at least 1000 miles of stop and go traffic. Not 1000 miles of highway trip.

This way both my cars the twin gt35 and the T51splbb, both pushing over 700whp, no issues for at least 15k miles so far.

Found these:

$624.00 ($100 postage then $86 for each additional item)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Supra-MKIV-Center-Force-Clutch-2JZ-ACT_W0QQitemZ230355709921QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090710?IMSfp=TL0907101510003r35522

$607.78 (not had a reply yet on postage but it's still a little early)

$633.11 (not had a reply yet on postage but it's still a little early)

http://www.prostreetonline.com/pnsku/df510150.asp

I've emailed them and asked about group discount for postage and possibly some discount if we get a few.

I've also called TDI to see what they can do. They'll call me back apparently.

Disclaimer: In no way am I trying to organise a group buy (in case any mods are watching). I'm just trying to help out by asking the questions from the suppliers to get a feel for what's available.

Have a quote from the UK supplier. Usually £632.50 incl vat

If we buy 3 they will do it for - £1612 = £537.33 each INCL VAT.

So that's about £100 more than from the states, however you have to factor in customs on top of that. Is this including delivery to each of us individually?

I'm ready to buy the clutch now, though I'm on holiday for a week on friday so if you guys want yours soon, I'll have to act fast :)

Thanks Dimitri. I have a new flywheel (only 1k on it)

That's not including delivery to all. I'm prepared to pick them up though from the dealer and then you can sort me out to post to you if you fancy? Up to you? Am I breaking any rules doing this? I'm pretty much ready to pay now, so let me know by tomorrow chaps :)

Wish I had a new flywheel :( How much are they?

About £200 plus £90 for the bolts :)

Where are you based Mark?

I'm ready to pay. I don't have internet access during the day so will check this thread tomorrow. Would I pay them directly or through you?

This just in...

"Hello Mark:

The current wholsale price for each on this part number is $660.51; shipping individually is $90.00 each via USPS priority mail 6 to 8 day service.

Sincerely,

Jose Mora

This also just in:

"$600 each. $95 for each shipment of one clutch. $25 discount on each clutch if you pay by wire transfer or money order."

What really annoys me is that these were up for $525 yesterday, and he quoted $600 each. I sent an email asking why the price difference and now the website has $590 listed. Still cheaper than what he quoted me after offering to buy three.

Based on this alone I won't be dealing with him at all. Ever. Period. Rant over...

How irritating is this.

1. The Ebay price has stayed static.

2. Dynamic Turbo went from $607.78 to $680.58

3. Prostreet online stayed the same but no email answer so far

How unscrupulous are these traders to put up the price when someone enquires for a sale. I can understand that the prices may have changed since posting the item but then they should be reflected online and not changed when someone enquires.

I'm calling the UK dealer tomorrow and finding out about prices, and most likely placing an order. Screw the USA!

It's not so much the hurry as the uncertainty of ordering from someone in a country you don't know that takes 3 days to reply to mails and the customs payment you may or may not have to pay of x amount, combined with unethical traders changing the prices at will and pretty much holding you ransom with a product you really want/need and for some unknown reason only have one supplier in the UK, that are notorious for high prices.... and breathe...... It really annoys me that in this day and age (I sound like my father) we still don't have the choice and freedom you'd expect.

Is it obvious that I just watched "V is for Vendetta"?
