cant help sorry but can i ask where you got it from?

I got mine from the states from http://www.lightningforceperformance.com. It came in at,

Centerforce Clutch Dual Friction........................................$559.00

USPS Priority..............................................................$110.00

This was a while back and the exchange rate is'nt the best at the moment, but the people on this board who have them fitted do recomend them.

Little num, not to worry im sure it will be fine. But the last thing i want is to pull the car apart again.

I sent an email to the centerforce tech guy, will see what he says.

Hi mate, i`m pretty sure all the pins were in on ours as i looked closely before fitting, it could be yours is faulty, i`d send a message to lightning force to check and would be wary of fitting it as the pins are there for a reason.

I refitted my engine last night, have to tighten up the pressure plate yet, will have a look at my centerforce and let you know. This would be a good time to check you have ALL the washers/spacers etc. see http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1994_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80-ALFQZ_3101.html

You need to trim (i used a bench grinder) the fiber washer that touches the pressure plate fingers to clear the weights by about 2mm. I would also recommend replacing the spring wave washer, if you want a quiet clutch, part numbers 90206-12006, and if the fiber washer looks worn 90560-79001. Remember to grease all parts of the clutch fork that touch anything and the shaft the release bearing sits on.

I am at a loss to know why people fit neck snapping rattling twin and triple plate exoensive clutches for under 700bhp unless they do regular drag or have 315 rear tyres or the like?.

UPDATE: Got this email from the manufacturer.

Hello,

The picture of the pin qty. (3) shown in the pressure plate will not be found
on your new Centerforce pressure plate. This pin is remove and not re-installed.

Roger

Thanks for the input lads.

just got this

We do manufacture our DUAL FRICTION pressure plate and clutch disc. part number DF510150 for the 1993-1998 Supra Twin Turbo which is made for the U.S.A.market, I have nothing telling me the Japanese market version is the same.

Our specifications are 250mm, 9 3/4", 1" input shaft with 14 splines.

can anyone confirm these are the right numbers please?

Have any of the guys running with these clutches ever driven a Supra with the RPS street max? I'm still undecided as to which to get :(

i had a street max a while ago it gave up after 3000 miles. i went back to stock and not had any more problems.

You should be able to adjust the pedal travel from under the dash. There should be a threaded bar that goes through the bulk head to you clutch master cylinder. You can disconnect this from the clutch pedal and twist it in or out to your liking. Just be sure not to adjust it too far in either direction or you will have clutch slip or trouble selecting gears.

I have the centreforce dual friction on mine too and it is bang on.

Yep, that was the only supplier i could find, other than tdr who were about £250 more.

Are you still using the same clutch now that you're running a single Si?

What bhp/torque are you running? Is there only one type for the Supra TT, or do they do different max torque rated ones?
