raviahluwalia
Anybody here currently running 19" alloys that fit over the UK spec brakes? I am having a nightmare finding alloys that are a sensible price, fit over the brakes, have correct offset and the correct bolt displacement. Cheers. zac grant
try wheel mania in birmingham. raviahluwalia
I did contact wheelmania about wheels and they said that they do not stock anything for the Supra except the SAVAGE superlight-weight wheels 8.5x19 and 9.5x19, which are £3500!!! Which rim style did you go for and which of the three shops did you use? Have you got a green Suuup? Coz i saw a nice green one at JAE with the 10spoke style wheels they do in 19". zac grant
Talk to Wayne at wheel mania in Sheldon Birmingham. He's the one that picked these wheels for me. V12 online (ABD) in Bradford have a large selection of large wheels for the supra. I've got a spare set of 19's if you want them but one of the wheels is slightly damaged but can be repaired easy enough hope this helps. Andrew Dunk Shaw
I went to wheel mania when i was looking for wheels, as there only down the rd from me. cant say i was impressed with what they had to offer or the service, all i got was these might fit but youll need wheel spacers etc etc. The guy couldnt even be arsed to get out of his chair to help me spend £2500, his loss. Ive now got some top alloys off P Whiffin who got them from japan for me. The only drama is waiting a couple of months or so for delivery. But mine were def worth the wait. He can virtually get whatever you want i think. Regards Andrew(dunk)Shaw Black uk mkiv tt

raviahluwalia
Zac, your new 19" rims look very similar to the ones I am looking at now - very nice indeed. Have you had any problems with them rubbing on the rear arches? There are definitely more rims out there if you have jap spec brakes, but because I have the UK spec ones, it's a pain in the a*se. Service: I wasn't impressed by the guy on the phone at Wheelmania - he basically said we don't have anything for a Supra. Also, I drove all the way to ELITE in Rainham Essex and their service was beyond utter shite. The guy was on the phone to his mate while serving me!!! Then one bloke was gonna show me a 19" rim against my car and he tutted when his manager asked him to take the rim to my car! ANyways, have found some nice 19" Kahn 2 piece rims, so watch this space guys.

Glad i'm not the only one who wouldn't give them the time of day. Just count yourself lucky that you didn't let them work on your car
Peter Evans
I searched for ages before finding mine, Wheelmania do have some good guys who know what they are talking about, but also a few that do not inspire confidence. I eventually got in touch with Peter at Performance Wheels in Blackpool (01253 347 984). He did me a great deal on Azev "M" 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5, made to measure with no spacers and Falken tyres.
