Sharpie
Have you not been out for a test drive in them ? I'm sure they would not miss the keys for an hour or two or during lunchtime if you are stuck for time.

Jamesy W
I had an Avensis as a courtesy car for a couple of weeks, loved it. Was actually thinking of getting one. Never have been a fan of Fords though.

Faye
I've test driven an Avensis Estate and Mondeo estate recently and prefered the Avensis, although out of all the cars I tried the Mazda 6 Sport was the best.

RedM
I've driven a Mondeo Titanium and I really liked it. It drove well and had a good bit of power for what it is. They actually look nice too. I also liked the hill-start assist!
Porky1978
Get the Avensis and help keep a fellow forum member in a job. Or at least get me back to full time working!!
dr_blackman
The mondeo drives lovely... never driven the Avensis
RedM
I've driven the Avensis too. It's the only car in recent years that made me think overtaking a lorry was a bad idea.
Carl_S
The avensis, beacause we can keep it in the family. It will bond with the supra. Also, it's not a mondeo. And it will contrast with the supe, like male and female.
Abz
Go for the Avensis, more of a comfy drive esp if you are going to be clocking up a load of miles!
Havard
I've test driven an Avensis Estate and Mondeo estate recently and prefered the Avensis, although out of all the cars I tried the Mazda 6 Sport was the best. What did you think of the gear box in the Mazda? I've got the sport as a company car and think the gear box is shocking! I think the mondeo is far better looking than the avensis and the titatnium spec is very good:) Vicki x
merckx
I'm sure most motoring journalists would go for the Mondeo, they're very highly rated.

I think the mondeo is far better looking than the avensis and the titatnium spec is very good:) Vicki x I really liked everything about it, that said I'm not a big fan of refinement/gadgets and a lot of the cars I drove had stupidly light clutches and gearboxes which just didn't feel "definite". The Mazda was nice and heavy, reminded me more of the manual supes, than the other cars Each to their own, but I like to put a bit of effort in
Alex
Get the one that depreciates least...my guess would be the Mondeo...but it might be close.
