Fitted Mesh!

Recommended Posts

Bought some mesh from Matt H (thanks), and fitted it this evening using a power drill and some very small cable ties. I think it looks pretty neat, and considering it was all done for £10... I am very pleased!

I would like to thank Darryl for his tips on how to do this, along with a few other members (Heckler, Matt H, Gaz, Pixelfill, SupraGirlie, Luxluc) for advice.

Took me about 30 minutes :) with the bumper on! Fiddly indeed :)

Mesh is only to stop the radiator getting destroyed, but also looks quite nice. I might change the bumper in the future, but for now, I think this does the job. In daylight, you could see the radiator - which is pretty uncool and ugly!

Skirts are being fitted on Friday! :D

Looks good, but maybe a little too silver on the black car...

How about spraying it Gun metal or black to help blend it in a little ?

Well, I am getting skirts done on Friday, so maybe they could spray it :)

Mine came with silver mesh in the apetures, thought it looked hideous so removed it and polished up the FMIC pipes, I keep toying with the idea of putting black mesh in all of the holes though.

Looks a tidy enough job mate but IMHO the silver mesh is just too much against a black car...
