MrRalphMan
some folk prefer cats....some prefer dogs....some hate marmite....some love marmite......each to their own? his/her money, his/her car.....credit to them for making it look vaguely ok for a saxo! Agreed. I prefer cats...going off your list. I love Cats and Marmite, but not together..
Scott
have no idea what a torsion bar is You can't cut them to lower the suspension, instead you take out the bar, lower the car then put the bar back in. Not quite so simple but thats the jist of it. I'm guessing you would see me as a chav due to the fact that i drive a modified 106 GTi? As for seeing you as a chav, my personal expectations of you would depend on how your 106gti was modified but then this is my own opinion, if it looked like that picture then probably yes. But i've seen saxo vtr's done very well, there was a SC'd one in ppc magazine a couple of years ago which I liked a lot but it was form over function which in turn made it nice. My own 106 is not modified so I do not see someone as a chav just because they drive one no.
Ace
We had a manx cat for about 16 years. I liked him and his look. Great big back legs he had. Was it a Manx TT...?

Whoever did the saxo has crap taste in modifying but that doesn't make them a chav IMO. My pug....
j_jza80
Isn't it a replica of the old Feels bumper for the Civic? That horror lives in York somewhere, i see it all the time. The Peugeot looks quite smart, although i'd loose the Wolfrace wheels and the eyebrows. (on the car, not yours )

Thats where we'll have to agree to disagree then as chav, to me, covers an entire culture of knob'ism that spans cars, clothing, character and acne. Your pug is nice though, nothing like the one pictured before. The only thing I'd change on yours would be the wheels, I like the white steelies you used to get on the old 106 Rally's but the white might not suit bergundy. MrRalphMan
So you get some spots and you're a Chav... That's a bit harsh...
j_jza80
I had a Saxo back in 2000/2001 as my first proper road car (following the 2 Ford Capris I had before it) It was the same colour as your 106 and was a cracking little car. I then ended up with my first VW Corrado, and had it sprayed the same colour. I haven't had a car since that Corrado that has had as much praise. Everywhere I went someone used to stop me and ask me what it was, or how theyhadn't seen one that clean for years etc.
Scott
Thats where we'll have to agree to disagree then as chav, to me, covers an entire culture of knob'ism that spans cars, clothing, character and acne. You can drive & dress like a chav without being one. How many knob BMW/Audi drivers have you come accross? Usually jumped up, stuck up tossers who think they own life as well as the road (not the BWM/Audi owners, just the ones that act like tits on the road). Granted, most of the people who wear burberry etc are chav's but there are the odd civilized people who chose to wear, IMO, distasteful clothes also. Acne means you're a chav now too? James
My Golf isn't ultra low or anything, and it's not alot higher (front anyway, I don't have big massive dipping skirts) than that Saxo IMO:-
bigbloodyturbo
The acne thing was a joke, maybe I should have used a few smilies for that. As for knob audi/bm drivers, I've met plenty on the road and yes they do usually think they own the road and yes they are tossers. Thats apparently an opinion I share with you, you just don't share my opinion of a chav.
