Soop Dogg
THIS LINK is one of NASA's own sites. Click on England/Scotland etc or wherever you are and then click on the name of your town/city. This will give you the list of times when the ISS passes over, the max. elevation from your viewpoint and the duration of the pass. Contrary to an earlier post, you won't always see it in Newcastle when it's visible in London. At 270 odd miles altitude, there'll be a fair difference in the angle of elevation of the station in the sky. For example, last night in Norwich, it was visible for 3 minutes, reaching an elevation of 12 deg., but in Newcastle, it didn't make it above the horizon. You need a good 40deg or more in London before it'll be visible for more than a minute that far north.
tbourner
Never in view for more than 6 minutes! Pretty amazing really considering it's flying 30 odd times higher than commercial airliners!!!
