A good BPU car can be great fun to drive (I drove mine for 3 yrs as a BPU) although it will never give that sheer brute power delivery that a single can muster (mine was around 380bhp - the single takes it upto 560bhp - so the difference has to count for something) Single is definitely not a value for money option in my experience.
