Scooter
I'm trying to get x6 old 13ft scaffold boards (cut to x6 6ft and x6 7ft sections would be fine). There are loads on ebay but nothing close to me in Guildford. I'm not opposed to travelling but cannot get to these places in normal working hours which is whats making things difficult. Before I book some time off work I thought i'd just see if anyone has any contacts or is really local to one of these places and can get them and keep them for me so I can pick up one evening. Long shot but you never know Isleworth and brockenhurst are currently the nearest ones to me on ebay

Scooter
ta I know I should do.................just feel a bit of a prat phoning to try and get £30ish worth of effectively old scaffolding tat from a company presumably taking orders for proper/normal jobs, but maybe they get it all the time and do indeed dispose of passed it stock to any old tome dick or harry..........i'll give'm a go
mathew
what do you need them for as many scaffold companies get rid of boards if they are split/damaged. those boards may be good enough for you when cut to the sizes you want
Scooter
thats exactly what i'm after as I could just pop to say Jewsons etc to get brand new ones but that just seems a bit if a waste ( and i'm being tight )............I assumed these ebay ads with loads of them were old stock that came from all the scaffold companies as they individually can't be bothered to faff around disposing of the odd few here are there to alloment owners and people like me who want tiny quantities, but i'll confirm this or not after a few phone calls tomorrow
