hadyn
Has anyone ever fitted an original Apexi AFC with the one knob to adjust fuel adjustment as seen here? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/APEXi-AFC-Air-Flow-Converter-safc_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2em63Q2el1177QQhashZitem29fed0f522QQitemZ180368766242QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Is there any benefit to fitting one of these to a Supra? paul mac
gawd, i never even knew they made these, i was thinking my SAFC 2 was old skool but this is prehistoric, the SAFC has 12 adjustment points up the rev range so over the 3000rpm or so that things get interesting you can get some reasonable fudging (it got mine to 500hp), i presume this old thing you have found has one adjustment , so that will be the whole rev range corrected , if you have gone to trouble of making some modifications that require fuel adjustment i think fitting a £35 paperweight really is folly, and dont forget as with any fuel adjustment you would need dyno time Edited July 5, 2009 by paul mac (see edit history)
