clutch adjustment

Having recently reverted back to a stock in my 6sp supe. The biting point for it seems very low. I see that there is an adjustable rod at the top of the pedal that I can adjust in order to lift the biting point, but my question is this, there is another adjustment mechanism that clearly adjusts pedal height, should I move this as well in order to give the pedal more travel?
