JustGav
Pretty much underneath where the passengers feet would be... Be careful it is a tricky job because the blooming threads can get crossed easily.

JustGav
I did mean underneath the car, and not inside the car... If you look underneath from the front of the car, it is on the right handside just next to the gearbox.

bigbloodyturbo
Fuel filter is the one thing I haven't ever tried on my own car (always in an awkward position). Is it particularly difficult?
merckx
Is it particularly difficult? Nearly always straightforward but a few of us have had problems. If the pipe coming from the tank to the filter has been overtightened at the factory it will be difficult as the pipe flares out in the filter making it impossible to remove , this has happened on other Toyota models too.
