EEK... weather's not been too bad since i got mine (my 1st), tail has only slipped out once but that was slow at a right turn traffic light..was enough to make me aware of the problem tho.

Next to my previous motor..this is a whole new ball game...

Ditto the others.. glad you are ok :)

30psi is rather low on the back of a supra. I have run 34psi at the rear on 16",17" and 18" rears for the past 9 years, I get perfect even tread wear right across the contact area. At 30psi is suspect the centre of the tyre has minimal grip at 30psi and will make it very easy to build up a layer of water under the centre of the tyre.

Glad you were not hurt and no other parties were involved. Unfortunately wet roads after a very hot spell, will catch out many drivers. With all the oils rubber and other crap that gets left on the surface, the first drop of water can be like ice as it sits on top of the road.

I had exactly the same problem last July - discovered a deisel spill exiting a roundabout in light rain at 34mph :(

Laid unconcious in the wreckage for nearly an hour (my head went through the side window), woke up with emergency services cutting the roof off.

I was a bad day.

Glad to see you are all OK though, they are terrible in the wet though - arn't they !

Seriously mate, you seem very far from the road for 34mph!

Well, I wrote my MK3 turbo off back in 1995 exiting a roundabout (with clumsy downshift choice from 4th to 2nd) and hitting some diesel @ 35mph. No. Really.

I didn't give myself an instant aerotop as per the above example, but stilll destroyed the car by bouncing off the central reservation and near side railings once or twice.

It really is all too easy.
