JohnA
It deffo sounds like someone before you,was trying to pass there uk car off as a j-spec after all who would'nt I think I'll do this myself actually, sounds like a good idea. I'll swap the bonnet with one without the scoop, downgrade the inlet cam, fit a smaller fuel pump, smaller injectors, smaller brakes, 16"wheels and get rid of the transmission and rear diff coolers. Then I'll swap the glass headlights to bright yellow plastic ones (that will fool them) I'll also change the front seats to cloth, throw away the MOTs and flog it as a 29K example. What a wonderful idea!!!

JohnA
Look, this is an interntet forum, all is in jest, don't take things too seriously or personally Not everything is 100% honky-dory in UK-land, I admit. The headlight washers are ridiculous, for example. And this 'turbo spooling' thing might have some truth to it, I had an experienced member here drive the car and (to my dismay) he confirmed that the second turbo actually does come in --- I was under the impression that it was fecked, and was preparing a turbocharger swap. Imagine this: it spools so slooooowly that I thought it was broken. Sheesh....
carl0s
Is this right? Question mark over the heated wing mirrors for me mate. My n/s definately isn't, but there were no extra cables that didn't fit it or anything, and the other side doesn't 'appear' to be a heated mirror. I couldn't feel my No2 until I fully de-catted, then I could feel it and hear the exhaust note suddenly turn more aggressive at 4,000rpm. Now that I've added the RSR exhaust, I am /fully/ aware of number2.
JohnA
Yeah, I'm looking for a front decat too, and I should fit the boost gauge some time this year (such a lazy git..).

JohnA
took me about four months I've got the wideband sitting on the bench, same as boost gauge and knocklink. I just lack motivation
