Cheddar FTW :D

Will take a few days to settle. 2 perhaps 3. Can hurt like **** if they are over tightened.

Strangely, I have never known an adault to have train tracks, and I have worked at a dentist, how are you if you dont mind me asking Clare?

ah my teeth arent as bad the left side needs to move more than the right , that side hurts at the moment and i can't eat on that side at all. I should be ok in a few days i hope

The problem is fitting it in, hard to get such a package between the teeth ;)

haha strangely enough i've read up on this :D. Theres a thread where women who have braces talk about giving Bj's seemingly its not too bad if you go slow but be careful of catching hairs

Towards the end it would have to be the old tongue and wrist then as you can't have it slow on vinegar ;) :D

Yes, every time they put in a stronger wire it aches for about 2-3 days afterwards, it is painful to eat and generally not nice. Look on the bright side though, if you can't eat anything, think of it as a diet! :D

I have had fixed braces top and bottom in for about 15 months now. In the new year i go in for an operation to have my lower jaw broken and moved forward about 8-9mm. It will be then joined together with titanium plates. This is then followed by another 6-7 months of fixed braces to re-align my bite.

By the way i'm 32.

I applied to have the work done when i was 24. It took the NHS 7 years to find a surgeon to do the operation!

When all this is all completed i'm doing a Richard Hammond and having my teeth whitened and then booking in a top class restaurant for the biggest steak dinner the world has ever seen!!

So, well done on getting the braces claire!

It will be worth it in the end.

Or so everyone keeps telling me!!
